Karl Kasberger was born in Vienna in 1891 and received his training at the Graphic Teaching and Research Institute and at the School of Applied Arts with Professor Strnad. The focus of his studies on stage and film also corresponded to his further professional activity - after Kasberger had moved to Wels, he worked as a municipal stage designer and was also on the theater advisory board of the city of Wels from 1942 on. In addition, the artist also maintained his own studio. In addition to his theater work, Karl Kasberger not only created oil paintings, but also carried out public commissions for frescoes. In addition, he published a series of postcards with motifs from Wels around 1919. The artist died in Wels in 1969.
